    Summary of Essential Functions for the Position:


    Under the direction of the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Director is responsible for preparing the regional sales plan, in collaboration with operations, to include but not limited to,  forecasts, target accounts, contacts within accounts and budget for achieving objectives, projected growth and target markets for market development.  The Regional Sales Director understands the competitive environment in the region to identify opportunities for development, providing input to the business plan and identifying expansion opportunities.  Develops and implements account strategies to secure growth in account market share with large complex referral and payor organizations.  This position will work directly with targeted sales efforts including assistance with sales planning, selection and training of sales staff, mentoring and coaching.  Prepares and conducts presentations, on behalf of Doctor’s Choice Home Care, to organizations where prospective clients may be reached and/or influenced.  Contributes towards the growth of the Company through expertise in specialty services and/or markets (i.e., DME, specialty store and home health). 


    Qualifications / Licensure / Certification / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:


    • Two (2) to three (3) years of home care or healthcare experience preferred, with proven success in sales a plus.  
    • Progressive managerial experience preferred.
    • Understanding of health care services strongly desired.
    • Ability to represent the Company effectively in a variety of settings and with diverse communities.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work effectively and independently with all levels of clinical and administrative staff.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop trusted relationships rapidly.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must be well organized and demonstrate attention to detail
    • Ability to work within a team environment and with deadlines
    • Acceptance and ability to demonstrate and support the core values and goals of Agency.
    • Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software
    • Valid driver’s license, automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation required.
    • 100% travel may be required.

    Educational Requirements:


    High School diploma or GED.  Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred.
